We will stop at several locations in the City Center so you will have the chance take a closer look at sights such as the Central Library which gives the community access to anything from advanced technology to sewing machines. You will see places like the parliament building, the presidents castle, opera house, the building of modern art, the famous composer's Sibelius monument, the cathedral of Helsinki and many more interesting sights. You will also have a chance to do some shopping at the central market square. Porvoo Old Town

The Porvoo medieval town plan is reminiscent of the rambling alleyways, wooden houses and beach fences in Old Porvoo. The existing wooden buildings date back to the 18th and 19th centuries. The landscape on the riverbank is dominated by a Gothic cathedral, which received its presence form the 15th century. At the same location, there was a wooden church in the 13th century with a stone wall. Nowadays the church is known as Porvoo Cathedral of the old town in the medieval King's Way. It is surrounded by a large wooden house town called Old Porvoo. The new center of Porvoo was built south of the old town in the 19th century according to the empirical style of Carl Ludvig Engel's 1832 square layout. It was partially demolished by modern business buildings in the 1960s. The newer neighborhoods consist of apartment buildings, but the cityscape is dominated by residential areas. The green areas found in the city center are the City Park, and Runeberg Park, at the mouth of the Porvoon River.

Come explore the beautiful and historic island from a different perspective by private boat. We cater to your needs and circle the whole island unlike the ferry's. Once we dock the boat you will get to explore the insides of the fortress and enjoy the beautiful hillside sea views of Helsinki's coastline. The island offers cafes and souvenir shops and some might even want to pop inside the Suomenlinna-museum. We will show you the lighthouse church and the WW2 submarine stationed on the island. Having a national park this close to the capital is rare in Europe. There are dozens of endangered or threatened species of animals, plants and fungi in the park. In the Nuuksio area you will have the chance to see lots of animals like the flying squirrel. Nuuksio National Park has over 80 small lakes and ponds. The watercourses vary from brown water ponds to bright, rocky lakes. Nuuksio's largest bog is a natural state of the old forest-framed Soidinsuo. In addition, you will find plenty of small rapids and cormorants in the park. The first parts of Nuuksio rose by over 9, 000 years as a result of the land uplift following the ice age then.

I will teach your kids how to fish on a kayak or an inflatable boat. We will use a float, hook and bait to catch local sea fish off the coast of Helsinki. Safety first! All children will be required to wear life vests and must obey the guides rules. For more advanced young anglers I have spinning rods and reels and we can target bigger fish. Invest in your kids and allow them to have a fun day out in the Finnish archipelago!
